A Note from David
I'm a Raleigh-based wedding photographer documenting weddings across North Carolina with a candid, documentary approach. My focus is simple: be present, pay attention, and photograph your day as it naturally unfolds — without forcing or interrupting what's real.
The moments people hold onto most aren't the ones they planned. They're the ones they felt. My job is to recognize those moments as they happen and preserve them with honesty and care.

What's included in a typical package?
Full-day coverage up to 12 hours, an engagement session, a second photographer, digital and film photographs, hi-res files, an online gallery, and travel within driving distance — all baked in. Full breakdown is in the guide.
Do you shoot film?
Yes — about 10 rolls per wedding on average. Film holds a timeless quality I love, and it pairs beautifully with the digital coverage.
How long until we receive our photos?
Preview images within a week. The full gallery in 6–8 weeks. Engagement sessions are delivered in about 2 weeks.
Do you travel?
I do. Travel is included for weddings within driving distance of Raleigh, and destination weddings are quoted custom. I've photographed weddings from the NC mountains to the Outer Banks to Canada.
How do we book?
After we've confirmed we're a good fit, I send a proposal with a contract and a $2,000 non-refundable retainer to hold your date. Then we start planning together.
What makes your process different?
I spend real time getting to know my couples before the wedding day — including a short pre-wedding video exercise that helps me understand who you are. By the time I'm photographing your day, it's like having a friend with a camera.
