A Wrightsville Beach engagement session doesn’t get more special than starting the day on the Intercoastal Waterway, cruising to a private beach on the couple’s boat. This session was the perfect mix of coastal charm and personal touches, making it a dream to photograph. We kicked things off at Dockside Bar and Restaurant, a classic Wrightsville Beach spot, where the couple enjoyed pre-session drinks before setting sail. The golden light reflecting off the water made for the most stunning, sun-kissed images as we traveled through the Intercoastal Waterway, capturing their love in a setting that truly felt like home to them.
Before heading to the beach, we started the session at their downtown Wilmington home, where their adorable new puppy stole the show. These sweet, in-home moments added a personal touch before we embraced the laid-back, coastal energy of Wrightsville Beach. With their 2025 wedding at Airlie Gardens on the horizon, this session perfectly blended their love for the water, their home, and their future together.
